From sign-up to music playing in your venue — here's exactly how it works, step by step.
How it works
Five simple steps. No technical setup — if you can use a phone, you can run MUSICDJ.

Create your account
Go to app.musicdj.net and register. Verify your phone by SMS, then confirm your email and set a password. You'll land in your Backstage dashboard.

Add a device & choose your plan
In Backstage, click New device and pick the plan that fits your venue. Enter a few details and pay securely by card with Stripe — your license arrives instantly by email.

Play instantly in your browser
Open player.musicdj.net, enter your license, and music starts immediately — nothing to install. Test your sound right away.

Control it from your phone
Download the Remote app for iOS or Android, or use the Web Remote — adjust volume, skip tracks and switch playlists from anywhere in the room.

Go permanent on a TV or box (optional)
Prefer a dedicated in-venue player? Download the Android Player from Google Play and enter your license on any Android TV or smart box.
Good to know
- One license works on any number of devices — but one at a time. Signing in on a new device automatically signs out the previous one.
- The Remote app allows a single active session at a time.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and your license is emailed to you the moment payment succeeds.
